Cerro Catedral Announces Opening Date

Cerro Catedral announced it will open for the season next Thursday, June 12. We went up to the resort today to take our pass pictures and were treated to Argentine efficiency at it’s finest.
It appears the top third of the resort has a fair amount of snow. More snow is in the forecast this week.
Here is a picture this afternoon from the base area.
Sunday afternoon update
The skies are clearing and it appears a lot more snow has fallen. The snow elevation seems to be coming closer to lake elevation as well. I’ll try to get a photo up soon.
