More Details on the New Faena Hotel

As mentioned yesterday, Alan Faena and company purchased land on Lago Moreno and plan to build a 5 star hotel.
In today’s La Nacion newspaper, there is some new information on the project. Apparently the purchase was 14.5 million dollars, not 16 million as reported yesterday. They plan to begin the project in the next few months, and the hotel is expected to be completed in 2 years, and include 140 rooms.
In addition to Faena, there are some North American investors involved in the deal. Faena stated the idea of the project is to provide foreign travelers visiting the Faena Hotel and Universe in Buenos Aires to have a similar experience in Bariloche.
