Rain Update
July 15th, 2008 Posted in weatherWritten by Jamie
Here at LivinginPatagonia.com, we try to be honest about things. Unlike other news sources, we truly do report and you decide.
Anyway, today is day number five of rain, much of it the heavy and steady variety. The temperatures have been very mild and it is quite likely that much, if not all the snow on the upper mountain has been washed away.
The forecast appears to be one more day of heavy rain, then clearing out and getting below freezing.
Las Leñas, our neighbors to the north, are doing well. If you have ski plans to be in Bariloche for the next week or so, you might want to consider a last second audible.
Things can change quickly in the Andes and we will of course keep you a breast of the latest developments.
Peace out from a rather damp Patagonia.

Nothing like cold rain and mud to make food and wine taste that much better. Hasta dominga!

If you have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes you will have definitive demands that must be met. It always seems such a shame to leave your family member in the kennels for a week or two, when you will be spending most of the time hiking and rambling (of course what dogs love to do!) Many of the caravans welcome pets, however they do advise not to leave them unattended in the caravan.
