Oh, to be Young Again.

As previously posted, Bariloche is a haven for the younger generation. There are several large discos that line the lake shore downtown. They seem to rotate which one hosts the youth and which one hosts the adults. Most nights, there is usually at least one “happening” disco for each age groups.

While at the supermarket this afternoon, I noticed flyers for one of the discos, Cerebro. Further investigation showed it was advertising a grand fiesta with two DJ’s. It says it is exclusive for people over 17. And woman get in free up until 2:30am, when the party really gets going.

I immediately thought of my late teens and the trouble I used to get into late night. Driving around Hollywood, telling fibs to the parents to stay out later. If only I had a disco that allowed me in, and went on until the morning light, my parents would have had to let me go. Surely they wouldn’t want me to be a nerd!

So for you up and coming party people out there, go enjoy yourself for me!
