New Restaurant on Peninsula San Pedro

A newly-opened hosteria on the Llao Llao side of town, Peninsula Petit, has taken on a fresh, non-conventional way of thinking.

First off, they have a stellar location nestling the shores of Lago Nahuel Huapi. The views of the mountains, water and sunsets are spectacular.

Secondly, they have opened up their reception and lounge area to unknown, incredibly talented local artists. Impressive paintings, photography, glass art and sculptures decorate the modern, chic ambiance and create a great atmosphere to showcase the amazing local talent.

Thirdly, they have opened their restaurant, Coihue Restaurant, with the idea of creating an experience specifically catered to the guest. They are offering ethnic food nights, specials and discounts for locals as well as a perfect location for parties, weddings and business dinners. The dining room is open from Tuesday till Sunday, with seating from 8 pm to 10:30 pm. The everyday menu is based on a triple-choice option plan, including an appetizer, main dish and dessert. The multi-course affair costs 90 pesos per person.

We had a group dinner at Peninsula Petit last night and had a wonderful experience. Thus, the reason I thought it would be good to pass on the news. A new fabulous restaurant in Bariloche is always a treat. And something to be shared. Enjoy!
