5 Lessons of Life

Each time an important person in my life passes on it makes me reflect on my own life. I guess death has a strange way of doing that.
So, in respect to CR, his love for gliding with gravity on snow and his passion for living, I thought I would share 5 things that skiing has taught me. In no particular order…
1. To always stay in the moment, but at the same time keep an eye out for what is ahead.
2. Don’t over-analyze the situation at hand, because it will be over with before you know it…and then you are on to the next challenge.
3. Appreciate fear, but don’t let it control you.
4. Cold wind, pumping adrenaline and heavy breathing always will bring you back to center.
5. Go with the flow…absorb the bumps that come your way. If you let them take you off center, then you are going to fall.
