The BBQ Law

Well, we would have said that the soccer field was the most important part to a home’s landscape, but we learned today that we would have been a little off.

We are in the process of acquiring a mile high stack of paperwork for our residency. We have to show the plans of the property because our house is part of the application procedure. Today we met with our architect to discuss how the process is going.

Half way through the meeting her forehead tensed in concern.

“Aaahh, there is one thing that there must be. I don’t know if you have one. Is there a parrilla?”

She went on to explain that there had to be a formal area designated for the bbq area.

Luckily our parrilla has wheels so it isn’t to difficult to move it to the location needed, as described on the lot map.

It’s nice to see the Argentines have their priorities straight.

That’s hysterical! Who knew a parrilla was compulsory? I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised though. If there’s one thing the Argentines don’t mess around with, it’s the art of the asado.

By the way, I’ve been lurking on your blog for a little while now, but I think this is the first time I’ve commented. I really enjoy reading your posts, and I have added you to my blog roll. I hope you’ll consider dropping by my blog too. :)

    Saludos!

We both had quite a chuckle in the office when she told us that.

I added you to the blogroll, gracias.

What you wrote was actually very reasonable.
However, what about this? what if you were to create a killer headline?

I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog,
but what if you added a title that grabbed people’s attention? I
mean LivingInPatagonia.com ? Blog Archive ? The BBQ Law is
kinda boring. You could glance at Yahoo’s home page and see how they write news headlines to get
viewers to click. You might add a related video or a related
pic or two to get people interested about what you’ve got to say.

In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
