Storm Report

Wednesdays are normally Phrase of the Week, but in light of the big storm cycle that appears to be winding down, I decided to report about it.

As posted last week, a series of storms were forecasted to hit our area. Well, the weather gurus were spot on and I suspect that when the skies clear things will be looking mighty impressive.

We have seen it all this week; rain, snow, high wind, avalanches, no internet, no satelitte TV, road closures, school closures, spin outs.

It is safe to say that winter has arrived to Bariloche, better late than never, in true Argentine fashion.

Thanks mother nature! As lifelong skiers, we appreciate it!
