Breakfast at the Llao Llao

Since my Dad was in town last week, we decided to have breakfast up the street, at the Hotel Llao Llao. It is always a trip going to the hotel and seeing how the other half lives. In Argentina, there is a lot less wealth than back home in California, so we tend to forget about what comes with living the high life. The guests staying at Llao Llao are definitely the who’s who of South America and the world.

They offer a full breakfast buffet from 7-11 am, including some egg dishes, dangerous sweets and lots of fresh fruit and juices. At 75 pesos/25 dollars, it probably is about as expensive as any other full spread at a world class hotel.

For me, I hadn’t had that good of breakfast in 3 years of living in this country. The staff was extremely attentive and nice as well.

The waffle chef gave me a wink and said he would make up something special for me. He did not disappoint.

If you are in the area, feel like splurging, eating over-the-top food, hanging with elite, and admiring world class views and architecture, then this is the place.

Be sure to call ahead and make reservations to gain access to the property.

The $25.00 is well worth the price.
Service is incredible, the view is super outstanding, the accomadations are unreal, and you actually feel like you are in a foreign country in the “RICH” part of the Alps.

I think that may be a captivating element, it made me assume a bit. Thank you for sparking my considering cap. Every now and then I am getting such a lot in a rut that I just feel like a record.
