Catedral Back in Business, Take 4

Well, we have some good news…Cerro Catedral reopened today around 1 pm! They reported from 6 inches to almost 2 feet of new snow overnight.

It is a very exciting day, but unfortunately we didn’t get to go out and play. We have family in town and we’re doing the tourist thing. It’s all good; it’s nice to have loved ones in town (even if we did miss skiing). Here is a nice scenic shot from todays guided family tour.

Word on the street was some good, quality snow. But don’t be fooled. It is still very much low tide. So let’s all keep our fingers crossed for more storms coming our way (it’s in the forecast).
