Cerro Catedral to Open for 2012 Ski Season

June 23rd, 2012 Posted in sports, travel

Cerro Catedral will be open for skiing starting tomorrow, June 23.

Base of Catedral

Thanks to the recent snows, South America’s largest ski resort will be operating 4 lifts initially.

The forecast is calling for more snow tonight and than early next week. We sincerely hope the region has a great winter, especially after the past challenges with the volcano.

Ernesto Jorge 18 January 2005 – 3:15 am A few words trying to exlaipn the situation, from someone born and living in Argentina who now is working as a Lean Thinker . We Argentinians suffer daily what you pointed out: long queues to pay for anything, even when it comes to pay taxes! The main reason seems to be the lack of trust in the workers. This is, every owner of a business fears to be stolen by their employees, so there is a lot of checking points in the processes of sales. The rule of thumb is that the people who hands the product must not handle the money.
