The Hyatt Wants In

There was an article in one of the local online sites stating that some executives of the Hyatt Hotel chain had a meeting with the new Bariloche mayor, Marcelo Cascon. They expressed interest in constructing a Hyatt Regency in the area. There are two Hyatt’s in Argentina, in Mendoza and in Buenos Aires. We stayed one night at the Hyatt Regency Mendoza on our honeymoon back in 2002. It was and still is the nicest hotel room we have ever been in.
As I have posted before, both the Faena and the Hilton have already bought land and announced plans to build cutting edge 5 star hotels. With the addition of the Hyatt, and the existing Hotel Llao Llao, it appears Bariloche is stepping up their high end game.
