Bergen Gettin’ Some in the Patagonia Forest

As we have mentioned before, our canine son, Bergen, is an important part to our enjoyable life down here in Mother Nature’s wonderland. At 15, his spry ability to run and play among the miles of gorgeous single track, seriously, brings a tear to my eye daily.

A couple of days ago, we hiked Cerro Lopez, which is a steep hike that many humans of all ages wouldn’t be able to walk up. But Bergen on the other hand, takes his time at first…smelling the Lengas…enjoying the feeling of bamboo leaves on his face…appreciating the sight of his brother and sister taking his lessons to heart on how to treat the forest with kindness…

And then he lets loose on the downhill…

Never a dog to let banked corners and gravity go unappreciated, what a treat it is to still see him enjoying it this many years later.
