Greenpeace Calling out President Cristina

In yesterday’s Washington Post, Greenpeace placed an ad asking President/Queen Fernandez de Kirchner to rethink constructing a coal power plant in southern Patagonia.
The paid announcement is nice play on Evita’s, “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina”.
We have reached a time when the environment critically needs attention. We need to utilize renewable energy whenever possible. I can confidently say there is plenty of wind, hydro and solar energy potential throughout Argentina. The thought of a dirty coal plant in one of the world’s most pristine locations doesn’t make much sense to me.
