Back in March, I posted about a new 5 star hotel being developed by the Faena. Yesterday, there was an announcement that a Portugese group, IMOCOM, has released the plans for their new hotel project on the Circuito Chico, close to Laguna El Trebol.

The 150 million dollar, 5 star hotel will be run by Hilton and will include 210 rooms and 240  apartments spread over 50 hectares/123.5 acres. The project will have 3 restaurants, convention facilities for up to 1,000 people, and a large spa and fitness area.

The construction is expected to take 32 months, using 500 workers, and is expected to be open sometime in 2011.

The design will focus on integrated the hotel with nature. More pictures of the project can be found here.
