Airline and Airport Lessons

I wanted to share a couple of lessons I have just learned. I highly suggest checking the departure time of your flight the day before. We showed up at the airport to catch our flight on Aerolineas Argentina to find out they had moved the flight time up 40 minutes. No one bothered to notify us.

This unfortunately lead to missing our connection from Buenos Aires to Bariloche. We were thankfully able to gets seats on a much later flight on Lan.

The second lesson of the day is there is a way to store baggage at the domestic airport in Buenos Aires, AEP. One must go to the Aeropuertos 2000 office and fill out a form, have the bags  x-rayed, and the zippers tied off. The cost is 6 pesos per bag.

I hope these two lessons save you time and energy. ¡Buen viaje!

The flight industry definetly keeps you on your toes. But like everything in Argentina, it works out in the long run.

They should open the Airlines up to more competition. That would be the quickest fix to the constant delays and bad service on Aerolineas Argentina. LAN is so much better.

Agreed LAN is better but I have had my flight time switched 3 different times between Bariloche and BA with them. At least they email and notified, more the Aerolineas. Twice it messed up my connection time. Chau, Jamie
