This historic event will include 12 leaders of Latin America countries.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the United States increase in military bases in Colombia. President Alvaro Uribe will be on hand to discuss the situation.

Close to 3,000 security personel will also be coming to Bariloche to help keep things safe.

The United States has issued a statement defending their position and reason for the increase in Columbia.

Speaking of military bases, what is the situation in Patagonia (both Chilean and Argentinian)? Don’t tell me Patagonia is a militarized region. I thought is was a peaceful paradise.

Everything is tranquilo here in Patagonia. Only unrest is when the wind is too strong for the trees. Suerte, Jamie

Competing subcompact cars like the Nissan Versa and Chevrolet Spark are more powerful, but also have lower fuel economy estimates at 31/40 and 32/38 mpg, respectively.
