Glacier Advancing
June 18th, 2009 Posted in weatherWritten by Jamie
Here is some refreshing news in the face of all the talk about global warming.
The Perito Moreno glacier, located in southern Patagonia in the province of Santa Cruz is growing.
According to Associated Press, it is one of the few ice fields in the world that has been able to resist the rising temperatures on earth.
Scientists aren’t sure what is causing this phenomenon. Perhaps, the reason lies in it being located in Argentina…where things defy logic on a regular basis.

So the last year’s incident described in your post “Perito Moreno Glacier Collaspes” (July 11th 2008) wasn’t due to global warming. That’s good news.

Estupendo,
That is correct, the glacier collapses every few years and is not due to global warming.
