A Magical Gift

The birthday trip has been a smorgasbord of awe-inspiring beauty.
But today was one of the most magical experiences of my life: being within meters of the graceful giants of the sea…
For over two hours we watched from the beach these massive mammals feed and play in the Atlantic…
It was an incredible experience to be so close to such impressive strength and agility…
or to witness the explosive push of water through their blow holes…
This year’s birthday presents have truly been an unforgettable experience. And the trip isn’t even over yet!

Gracias Che. The drive from Esquel to Puerto Madryn was all pavement and about 6.5 hours.
You and the family will love this place, the marine life is off the charts.
Nos vemos en un ratito, Jamie

Beautiful pictures Shani! I LOVED watching the whales when I lived in Hawaii…..wished I had as good a camera to take them as the shots you got.
