Pacha Mama on fire
May 26th, 2009 Posted in day to day, floraWritten by Shanie
I personally love weather. All types of weather.
I especially enjoy the fall rains. They help the plants re-hydrate after the long summer. They bring the forest to a vibrancy that rivals spring’s vivid floral rainbow. They help the ground lower in temperature, assisting the first layers of winter snow to bond with the land.
But there’s another reason that a good ol’ autumn downpour brings a smile to my face…
The plentiful amount of rain gives rise to the type of dirt that all mountain bikers dream of: tacky soil — the best for taking full advantage of speed, cornering and smooth riding.
Today, though, a wave of appreciation flowed over me…there is one other additional component about fall that left me feeling pretty lucky to live in such a beautiful place in the world — the skittles visual being played out amongst the deciduous forest.
It made for great entertainment while pedaling up the hills.
Once again I just have to give it up to Mother N. Thanks for the fabulous show.

Although I really like this post, I think there was an spelling error near to the finish from the 3rd sentence.

Is it okay to place a portion of this on my weblog if perhaps I submit a reference to this web page?
