Argentina is planning to expand tourism to non-traditional markets such as the Middle East.

According to the Gulf News, officials have been in talks with three airlines,  Qatar, Emirates and Etihad airways, from the gulf states about expanding airline service to Buenos Aires.

Argentina is also hoping this will lead to more foreign investment from this part of the world. Middle Eastern investors have already become involved with the 200 million dollar Jumeirah Culu Culu Polo Resort, an hour outside Buenos Aires.
