Peuma Hue: a Paradise Offering a Little Something for Everyone

Estancia Peuma Hue is a 220 hectare (500 acre) organic ranch, luxury cabin complex and outdoor adventure playground. It is the brain-child of Evelyn Hoter. A psychologist turned life coach turned estancia owner, Hoter has finally found her life-purpose within the lakeside paradise.

She found the abandoned swath of land that had been neglected (the majority of open land was taken over by a thorny, invading plant, the rose hip), abused (century-plus, giant trees had been illegally cut down by past owners) and trampled (the cattle that were overwhelming to the forest floor were cutting out the regeneration ability of lower plant growth) a decade ago. Now, with the love, sweat and tears of Hoter and the rest of the Peuma Hue family, this Argentine eco-lodge is one of the luxury experiences of Patagonia.

It is not only a gorgeous setting with modern, enchanting, architecturally-impressive buildings, but it also the setting for soul-altering yoga retreats, live concerts and a gourmet restaurant that uses only organic ingredients.

In fact, this eco-retreat that is worldly in stature, is having a yoga retreat the first week in April. The five day seminar will bring together the centering technique of empowering yoga moves, tai chi, meditation, and massage. The classes are held were it fills fitting for the students and Yoga Alliance certified instructor, Cheryl Delaney-Villar, whether it is in the beautiful non-denominational church, on the perfectly manicured lawns or under the grandfather Coihue trees. With a healing sanctuary like Peuma Hue, Cheryl is able to join forces with Evelyn in creating a place for people to achieve their higher purpose in life and a feeling of calmness.
