Camping for the Holidays

We decided to spend the holidays deep in the mountains and recharge our batteries. We had a nice hike up and only saw one other person along the way.

Once again, the beauty of the area was breathtaking.

We camped at Laguna Callvu, which in Mapuche translates into small blue lake. The name couldn’t be anymore accurate. The lake was as intense a blue as either one of else had ever seen.

It was a great way to spend the holidays.

Yes it is one of many spots that are amazing. This area reminded me a lot of Desolation Wilderness, except with no one around.
