As a US Citizen living outside my home country, it was extremely interesting watching today’s inauguration of President Barack Obama.

It was a moving experience, even from 6,000 miles away. I never knew one could have both tears and goose bumps at the same time.

Whether you are a Republican, Democrat or non of the above, this was an exciting day in United States history.

Even though I am across the world, thanks to technology, I felt like part of the festivities.

Only time will tell how the 44th president does. I am pulling for you Señor Obama!

His inaugural speech was something else, wasn’t it? A smart president in the US, who thought that was possible just a few months/years ago?

I think the best part was his indirect way of bashing on his predecessor.

” I never knew one could have both tears and goose bumps at the same time.” Funny enough, I just described exactly that on my own blog, I guess I am not loosing it.

I loved being out of country when I was… glad to know you’re here, or there… you know what I mean.

It’s important to get out of the good ol’ USA every so often. It gives life another perspective. Here, there, anywhere…as long as your enriching the lives around you. Yes we can!
