World Class Bicycling around Circuito Chico

My parents are visiting us here in Bariloche for the first time.

It’s great having family enjoying the area with us.

My Dad has always been an avid bicycle enthusiast. The last two mornings he has been borrowing Jamie’s bike and the two of us have ridden the Circuito Chico.

This should definitely be put in the list of world’s best rides.  The road, for the most part, is smooth, pot-hole-free pavement.  There are some good hills to keep you honest and fast downhills for the adrenaline factor.   One of the things that I love about the ride, other than the amazing beauty, is that the cars are minimal and tend to pass with a good amount of space.

Bariloche, the land of a million adventures, road biking being one of them.

Long runs also prepare your muscles and connective tissue to handle the stress of pounding the pavement for 42 kilometres. For this reason, all of your long runs should be on the road (unless you’re planning on running a trail marathon).
