Maradona to Coach National Team
October 29th, 2008 Posted in sportsWritten by Jamie
As reported by Yahoo, the colorful Diego Maradona will become the new coach of the World Cup team.
I won’t pretend to know much about futbol and comment on the decision in a coaching sense.
According to the article, an overwhelming number of Argentines don’t agree with the decision.
One thing is for sure. Maradona is a polarizing figure and should make for some good drama on the sidelines.
Time will tell if he can coach as good as he could play futbol.

You know, this is an issue close to my heart, and I do happen to know some futbol. I was hoping for Carlitos Bianchi to be the coach (I think most argentines also had him in mind).
But now that Maradona has been chosen, we need to support him 1000%…

I’m not sure exactly why but this website is loading very slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue
on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
