There is a new family-friendly excursion that has recently opened up 60 kilometers outside the city center of Bariloche. Tour companies have put a package together that includes wandering through landscapes decorated with volcanic geographical formations with likeness to castles and the interpretation of God’s fingers. There are also caves that show the history of time. The tour is more than just an appreciation for the landscape. It also involves river rafting down Limay River, horseback riding and a true Patagonian BBQ.

The Valle Encantado is a trippy area that resembles Utah in its geographical formations and arid landscape. Its exciting to see that mother nature’s masterpieces are receiving some much deserved attention.
